What Makes Us Different?

We’re not just a feeding service. We build relationships with our customers and their cats. We tailor our cat visiting service to your individual needs to provide peace of mind and ensure your cats are cared for in their own home when you’re away.

We clean up any little accidents we may come across, ensure litter trays are emptied and wash out cat food packaging to prevent smells. You’ll also receive an update and photos from us each time we visit. Personal touches like this make a big difference.

How It Works

When you first contact us, we’ll have a chat about your requirements, explain how we work, and then arrange to come and meet you and your cat(s) for an initial consultation, which is free and without any obligation.

During the initial consultation we’ll learn about your cat(s), their routines, their likes and dislikes, as well as discussing the type of service you require from us.

If you decide to choose us to care for your cats, we’ll confirm a schedule with you, provide a detailed quote, collect a set of keys from you and take note of any special instructions that relate to the property. It’s as simple as that.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions about our service and how it all works, please check the FAQs shown below. This should explain most of the information you’re looking for. For anything that isn’t covered by the FAQs below, please send us a message using the enquiry form on our Contact page and we’ll get back to you.

What areas do you cover?

We provide our cat visiting services within Southbourne and surrounding areas. These include Tuckton, Wick Village, Hengistbury Head, Iford, West Christchurch, St. Catherine’s Hill, Christchurch Town Centre, Fairmile, Iford, Boscombe East, Littledown and Pokesdown. These areas are within a 2 mile radius from Seafield Gardens (BH6 3JG) and distances are calculated using Google Maps via the most direct route to your property.

We may also be able to help within areas that are outside of the areas listed above. This is dependent on the location and frequency of visits you require. Additional mileage charges will apply in these circumstances. Please contact us to discuss your options if this applies to you.

What times of day do you visit?

Morning visits are typically made between 8:00am – 10:00am. Evening visits are typically made between 4:00pm – 6:00pm. Weekend visits start from 9:00am. Whilst every effort is made to adhere to arranged times, circumstances beyond our control (such as extreme weather or road closures) may affect this. We will always keep you informed if this is the case.

How long do your visits last?

Spending time with your cat(s) is an important part of our service. On average we aim to stay for 10-15 minutes per visit. Circumstances beyond our control (such as extreme weather or road closures) may affect the durations of a visit, but we will always keep you informed if this is the case.

I have more than one cat in my home.

That’s fine. Our visits cover up to 3 cats at a single address. If you have more than 3 cats please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Do you keep a set of my house keys?

We normally retain keys for our regular clients and for any short notice bookings. Any retained keys are securely stored in a safe and are colour coded so no information identifying the property is shown on the keyring. Keys can also be left in an agreed place or in your own external key safe. For longer bookings the keys are retained after the each visit (unless agreed beforehand) in case your return dates change or your are delayed. The keys are then returned to you within three days of informing us that you are safely back home.

Can you do any other jobs during a cat visit?

Whilst visiting your cat(s) we can also take care of things around your home like bring in parcels, watering plants, pulling curtains, putting bins out or checking your home is secure. You’ll also receive an update and photos of you cat(s) from us via WhatsApp each time we visit.

Can I see proof of your insurance?

Yes, of course. We’ll show you our current insurance certificate as part of the initial consultation. We can also give you a website address where you can independently verify the insurance policy online.

Can I view your DBS check certificates?

Yes, of course. The GOV.UK website allows us to share our DBS certificates with you so you can view them online. Just ask us and we can provide you with a one-time login for the GOV.UK website. We can also show you our printed certificates that are provided by the UK Government as part of the DBS checks.

What do you mean when you say you’re discreet?

For security reasons you don’t want to advertise that you’re away from home. So we visit in an unbranded vehicle and don’t wear any branded clothing so it’s not obvious to any passers by that we’re visiting your home whilst you’re away.

Do you offer any discounts for additional bookings or for key workers?

Yes, we offer two types of discount. (1) If a second visit is required on the same day then the cost of that additional visit is reduced by 10%. For example – a standard visit is normally £12.00 but the second visit on the same day would be discounted by 10% so would be charged at £10.80. (2) We also offer a discounted rate for Blue Light Card holders. To find out more simply enter your details into the contact form above to let us know your requirements. Please note that any discount offers cannot be combined.
