Cat sitter discretion is important

For security reasons you never want it to be obvious that you’re away from home, but just a few simple clues can quickly advertise that there’s no one at home. Things like post sticking out of the letterbox, bins still left out days after they’ve been emptied, curtains closed in the middle of the day and no lights on inside the house when it’s dark. These clues tell people that the homeowner is away and the problem can be compounded when an obvious pet sitter turns up and goes into the property.

We know that discretion is an important part of being a cat sitter. With this in mind, we will only ever visit your property in an unbranded vehicle, wearing unbranded clothing so it’s not obvious to any passers by that we’re visiting your home whilst you’re away.

We feel this level of discretion is important to our customers and provides a level of trust, understanding and reassurance that makes our cat visiting service stand out from the crowd. After all, it’s not just your cats you’re trusting us with – it’s your home too.

We don’t just feed your cats and leave. We care for them, play with them and spend time with them, just as if they were our own cats, whilst also taking the time to look after your home. We clean up any little accidents we may come across, ensure litter trays are emptied and wash out cat food packaging to prevent smells. We also send you an update and photos each time we visit.

We’re much more than just a cat feeding service too. Whilst visiting your cats we can also take care of tasks around your home. Tasks like collecting mail, closing curtains, watering plants, taking bins in/out and checking that your home is secure. All of these tasks help to make your home look lived in, keeping the routine going and ensuring your home doesn’t stand out as unoccupied.
